Job summary

Kalamazoo Country Club seeks a Director of Racquets to lead tennis and pickleball programs, supervise staff, and elevate the member experience across all racquet activities.

You will develop leagues, clinics, and social events; recruit, train, and manage professionals; maintain facilities with safety standards; prepare budgets and reports; and partner with Marketing and Operations to grow participation and revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or related field preferred.
• 4+ years in racquet sports management and leadership.
• Certification from USPTA, PTR, or related associations preferred.
• Strong coaching and teaching skills with players of all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive racquets programs.
• Recruit, train, and manage tennis professionals and staff.
• Oversee facility maintenance, safety, and quality standards.
• Plan and execute leagues, tournaments, clinics, and social events.
• Develop department budget and strategies to maximize revenue.
• Collaborate with Marketing to promote events and member engagement.
