Job summary

The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beach is seeking a part-time Racquets Maintence/Pro Shop Assistant in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. The role reports to the Director of Racquets and offers approximately 20 hours per week with a varied schedule including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.

The Racquets Assistant will perform routine maintenance on seven tennis courts and five pickleball courts, assist membership with reservations and retail sales, and support daily racquets operations as directed.

• Must be customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all items and areas on & around all playing courts for cleanliness and proper functionality and play readiness.
• Groom the courts and provide needed maintenance to maintain the playing surfaces.
• Report any issues observed to the Director of Racquets or Maintenance Supervisor including wind screens, fences, lights, furniture, canopies, and any other issue observed around the courts.
• Respond to member inquiries and requests, resolve member service issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Provide and replenish water on the courts.
• Stack and store furniture for inclement weather.
• Assist with daily racket operations as directed.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
