Job summary

Concentric is seeking an On-Site Maintenance Technician in North Carolina to perform routine maintenance on industrial equipment, including racking, doors, and loading docks. This 1st shift role requires hands-on troubleshooting and adherence to safety standards.

You will document work orders, coordinate with supervision, and support continuous improvement across our national service network. Candidates should have mechanical/industrial maintenance experience and be capable of working at heights.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, commercial, and industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience repairing warehouse equipment is preferred.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

The On-Site Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance on industrial equipment, including but not limited to racking, etc.

This position is 1st shift.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, including root cause analysis. Including research of potential warranty, rework and continuously repetitive repairs using historical equipment data available through Field Connect service platform.
• Perform service, maintenance, repair and installation on: Racking, Commercial doors; Loading docks; and general warehouse equipment.
• Complete all repairs of equipment in a timely manner and by the manufacturer’s repair guidelines.
• Judgment and Decision Making - Consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate course of action.
• Inspecting Equipment - Perform audits on equipment audits per the PM Planning tools schedule in Field Connect service platform.
• Communications - Provide information to supervisor, co-workers, and subordinates by phone, in writing, e-mail, or in person.
• Timely and accurate completion of all work orders and service records per the Concentric time standard.
• Maintain accurate and timely entry of work hours in Paylocity time keeping platform.
• Safety
• All work must be completed in a safe manner.
• Safety requirements by customer and Concentric must be adhered to.
• Work areas will be maintained to ensure safety.
• Work areas will be kept clean and organized daily.
• Timely Completion of Safety training modules.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Should have Mechanical, Commercial, and Industrial Maintenance related experience.
• Experience with repair and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
• Welding experience a plus.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Able to work at heights.
• Ability to organize his/her own work and work independently, with limited supervision.
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs, and across remote offices.
• Ability to clearly articulate ideas (both written and verbal) to both internal and external customers and to listen effectively to customer needs.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong workplace relationships with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments toward the greater good of the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word and Web Based Reporting Modules

• High School or GED Diploma required.
