Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician in Missoula, MT. The role focuses on repairing and maintaining refrigeration and HVAC equipment within Walmart facilities, using a range of hand, power, and digital tools.

You will respond to emergencies, document repairs, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. Minimum qualifications include 2–4 years in HVAC/R, EPA Type I/II or universal certification, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification and 2 years’ experience (Option 1) or 4 years’ experience (Option 2) in mechanical maintenance.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification required for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean MVR.
• 18+ with High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment using hand tools, digital tools and power tools.
• Utilize the work order system to receive and document repairs.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment and fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines in refrigerant handling policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently.
