Walmart is expanding its local retail store teams and seeks a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician in La Habra, CA. This role supports Walmart’s Refrigeration HVAC systems, using a broad set of hand, digital, and power tools to perform repairs and preventive maintenance.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of commercial HVAC/R experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. Join a team that values safety, efficiency, and customer service.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean record.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment using hand, digital, and power tools.
• Use work orders to document repair activities and support stores.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, and fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete safety training and operate tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines per Walmart policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights regularly.
