Job summary

KLA in Ann Arbor, USA, is seeking an engineering technician to advance our HPC infrastructure. You will support the development, deployment, and sustaining of image computer racks and power distribution solutions, aligning with compute roadmaps and cross‑functional teams.

This role combines hands-on assembly with systems understanding, including integration, testing, documentation, and change management in a fast-paced lab. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with rack-level electromechanical infrastructure.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.
• Experience with lab operations and safety (5S, EHS).

Responsibilities

• Support the design, build, validation, deployment, and maintenance of rack-level electromechanical systems.
• Perform system assembly, integration, upgrades, testing, and problem solving.
• Develop and implement test plans for product validation and compliance with requirements.
• Analyze and document test results to improve performance, manufacturability, and release readiness.
• Own and sustain Ann Arbor Rack Lab operations, including equipment readiness, tool calibration, inventory of consumables, and 5S compliance.
