KLA is seeking candidates to advance engineering projects for rack and PDU systems with a strong foundation in mechanical design and FEA. The role focuses on integrating thermal, electrical, and regulatory requirements while driving schedules and stakeholder communications.

You will mentor engineers and help scale solutions for HPC infrastructure. Experience with Creo and Ansys, plus a solid background in electromechanical assemblies, is preferred for this position in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in a relevant field; or a Master's with 3+ years related experience; Bachelor's with 5+ years related experience.
• Strong background in mechanical design, heat transfer, fluids, and materials.
• Experience with rack-system level electromechanical assemblies and server cooling technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver engineering projects for rack and PDU systems with high-power concepts.
• Drive schedules, milestones, and deliverables aligned with program goals.
• Apply comprehensive design principles integrating mechanical, electrical, thermal, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with multi-functional teams to develop robust, scalable HPC infrastructure solutions.
• Communicate project status, risks, and trade-offs to leadership and stakeholders.
• Oversee the transition from design to production ensuring quality and timely shipments.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth and capability.
