Job summary

CoolSys is seeking a skilled HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to service supermarket rack systems in Savannah, GA. The role includes diagnosing CO2/R744 configurations, reading electrical schematics, and performing electrical and mechanical troubleshooting with a focus on reliability and safety.

You will engage in on-site work across diverse industries, maintain high standards, and participate in an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial experience as an HVAC and Refrigeration Technician
• Active EPA Certification
• Valid driver\'s license
• Military Base Background Clearance required
• Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to safely lift to 50 lbs., climb and balance on a ladder, and work in elevated/high locations.

Responsibilities

• CO2/R744 system experience, including transcritical systems
• EPA Universal Certification - Required
• Advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Danfoss, Emerson/CPC, VFDs, and refrigeration controls
• Ability to diagnose compressor, refrigerant, oil system, electrical, and control failures
• Ability to perform leak detection, recovery, evacuation, charging, and system startups
• Ability to read electrical schematics and refrigeration diagrams
• Valid driver\'s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to work independently and participate in an on-call rotation
