Job summary

Ladowns is seeking a Security Officer to protect assets and ensure a safe environment for employees and guests in the Racing (non-casino) areas. You will enforce safety regulations, patrol all sections for hazards, and respond to incidents with first aid and CPR as needed.

You must be a high school graduate with a valid driver's license and a reliable, team-oriented work style. The role requires good oral and written communication and the ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (last 3 years; no suspensions; no DUI/DWI; <3 moving violations).
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and maintain a professional appearance.
• Honest and trustworthy with good attendance.
• Security experience helpful and First Aid/CPR certifications helpful.

Responsibilities

• Enforces property safety regulations.
• Performs all security-related duties for the Racing (non-casino) areas.
• Patrols all sections of the Racing (non-casino) areas to identify safety hazards and breaks in guest safety.
• Administers first aid and CPR as needed.
• Acts as a role model; presents oneself as a credit to LAD and encourages others to do the same.
• Meets attendance guidelines and adheres to policies.
• Maintains confidentiality according to LAD guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Security Supervisor or Manager.
