Job summary

Ford Racing is seeking an NVH CAE Engineer to drive full-vehicle simulation from model build to issue resolution for high-performance cars and trucks. You will act as the primary simulation contact on programs, coordinating with attribute and functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring a mechanical engineering background, NVH fundamentals, and strong proficiency with CAE tools (Nastran, HyperWorks, ANSA) and scripting (MATLAB/Python).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; NVH and CAE fundamentals required.
• Proficiency with Nastran/HyperWorks/ANSA for vehicle system performance analysis.
• Experience with MATLAB and/or Python scripting for data processing and automation.

Responsibilities

• Complete analytical assessments of NVH and secondary ride attributes using CAE tools to identify root causes and define solutions.
• Plan, build, and maintain full-vehicle CAE models through development and test phases.
• Lead model-correlation activities, including test-to-CAE correlations for prototypes.
• Source CAD/meshed model data from internal teams and suppliers.
• Lead physical testing activities including on-road correlation and vibration data collection.
• Deliver analytical sign-off across key NVH attributes and support design decisions.
• Develop data-management and automation toolsets for the NVH team.
