Job summary

Brooks Seattle HQ is seeking a Senior Footwear Developer, ARD to lead, manage, and execute the footwear development process from concept through commercialization. You will collaborate with design, CMF, textile, costing, and engineering teams to deliver high-performance products that delight runners.

You will own fit, feel, and ride across the portfolio, mentor teammates, and travel to Asia 4X per year to work with manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, design, biomechanics, or other technical field.
• 7+ years of experience leading high-performance footwear development.
• Advanced footwear development skills and cross-functional project management.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead NU & NT and pre-development projects from creation to hand-off.
• Ensure manufacturability and cost/quality targets across teams.
• Drive fit, feel, and ride across Brooks product portfolio.
• Mentor team members and lead cross-functional decision meetings.
• Travel to Asia 4x per year to supervise development with manufacturers.
