Toyota North America is seeking a Teardown/NDT/Sub-Assembly Technician for Toyota Racing Development in Costa Mesa, CA. The role focuses on engine teardown, nondestructive testing, and assembling components per engineering specs.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in racing engine build environment is desired.
• Hands on engine build experience is desired.
• Strong mechanical skills; ability to use all build related tools.
• Interpersonal skills and teamwork required to cooperate between teams.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble TRD accessories and engine parts (Teardown) following Engineering procedures.
• Perform nondestructive testing (NDT) of TRD components per Engineering specs.
• Assemble components to build plans and schedules; update build books.
• Maintain equipment and contribute to continuous improvement of teardown/assembly processes.
• Ensure attention to detail and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
