Job summary

NASCAR Concord, NC is seeking an experienced Computational Fluid Dynamics and Aerodynamics Engineer to lead the CFD program across NASCAR’s national series, collaborating with TotalSim USA from CAD to post-processing. You will maintain CFD models, support liftoff and thermal studies, and assist wind tunnel testing to drive vehicle development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• 1–2 years of related experience or training, or equivalent.
• Strong fundamentals in CFD, aerodynamics, and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Lead NASCAR CFD program, coordinating with TotalSim USA from CAD through post-processing.
• Maintain CFD models for all NASCAR national series and support performance and liftoff analyses.
• Assist with R&D wind tunnel testing, vehicle prep, and data analysis.
• Support the new vehicle submission process and communicate results with internal teams.
• Travel ~10%, including some weekends.
