Job summary

Motorsport Media Ltd is seeking a skilled engineer to run race and test car operations, coordinating the driver, engineers, and mechanics to a defined schedule. You will collaborate with Performance and VDG engineers to set up the car and maximise driver performance.

Role includes ensuring legal compliance, providing pre/post-event simulation and analysis, and running simulator sessions for development and race prep, with regular travel to race tracks as required.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or comparable higher education.
• Good theoretical knowledge in vehicle dynamics.
• Experience with data analysis programs.
• Ability to manage a group of engineers and mechanics.
• Willingness to travel, including weekends, and work under pressure.

Job description

We can currently only consider applications from candidates based in Europe or theUSA.
This position is remote, hybrid, or in-office, depending on the project. Regular travel to the race track is required.

Your mission

• Running a car in Race or Test sessions to a pre- defined schedule, managing the driver, directing the mechanics and tyre technician

Your profile

• Degree in engineering or comparable higher education
• At least 3 years’ experience in high level motor sports
• Good theoretical knowledge in the field of vehicle dynamics
• Knowledge of data analysis programs
• Operating with a clear head when under pressure
• Able to manage a group of engineers/mechanics
• Time flexibility, absolute willingness to travel, especially on weekends
• You are able to work in a team and independently and you have a high level of commitment
