You will use MPI and FPI methods to identify defects and ensure race-readiness. The role requires 2+ years in NASCAR Cup/Xfinity/Truck environments, on-site work, and fluency with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or advanced training a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in NASCAR Truck, Xfinity, or Cup series environment preferred.
  • Proficient in non-destructive testing methods such as MPI and FPI.
  • Strong familiarity with mechanical systems of race vehicles, including suspension, drivetrain, and braking systems.
  • Confident using a wide range of hand and power tools.
  • Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Dismantle race vehicles following events to prepare for inspection and service.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations of vehicle components for wear, fatigue, or damage.
  • Perform routine and corrective maintenance to ensure components meet team standards and safety regulations.
  • Utilize MPI and FPI/Zyglo techniques to identify cracks and defects.
  • Clean, service, and reassemble components to ensure race-readiness.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and documentation in the workshop.
  • Support other technical functions and special projects as assigned by the department lead.
