Job summary

NASCAR is seeking a qualified Technical Inspector I to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on inspecting race vehicles to ensure compliance with NASCAR rules and directing competitors through proper procedures for events.

You will work with a team across multiple inspection stations, handling pre- and post-race checks, equipment setup, and documentation. Ideal candidates will have a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Verify race vehicles are in compliance with NASCAR rules.
• Work one or more inspection stations for initial through post-race inspections.
• Assist in pre/post work day operations, including assembly/disassembly of inspection equipment.
• Capture inspection infractions using the Mobile Inspection Application.
• Maintain and store inspection equipment for future events.
• Assist R&D personnel with race equipment as needed.
• Transport vehicles as requested and load/unload haulers.
• Assist with traffic control, credential verification, and race procedures.
