The City of New York's Office of Equal Employment Opportunity (OEEO) is seeking a Reasonable Accommodation (RA) Specialist who handles disability, religion, domestic violence status, and pregnancy accommodations. Responsibilities include processing requests, cooperative dialogue, information analysis, and liaison with staff and supervisors.

Candidates typically hold a Master’s or Bachelor's with relevant public sector experience; residency rules apply.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration plus 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Alternate: Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in budget, accounting, or program evaluation.
• Advanced degree or combination may substitute for experience per Civil Service rules.

Responsabilidades

• Process reasonable accommodation requests in a timely manner.
• Engage in good faith cooperative dialogue.
• Interview, collect, analyze, and interpret information to evaluate requests.
• Track and monitor assigned reasonable accommodations.
• Educate and train supervisors on reasonable accommodation processes.
• Act as liaison between employees, applicants, and supervisors.
• Draft and review presentations and reports.
