Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking an experienced engineer to lead variants of the R300 product line as a Product Line Technical Lead. You will guide cross-functional teams through design, development, test, delivery and support to meet program goals and customer requirements.

In this entry-level technical leadership role, you will establish development approaches, manage baselines, mentor engineers, and collaborate with program management and external customers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued Secret security clearance.
• Entry-level technical leadership role leading R300 product line variants.
• Experience with multidisciplinary systems (mechanical, electrical, software).
• 8 years relevant progressive experience with a Bachelors, 6 years with a Masters, or 12 years with HS.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional team in design, development, test, delivery and support of R300 products.
• Coordinate with engineering leadership, program management, and customer to meet requirements.
• Manage the technical baseline, plan development within budget and schedule.
• Provide dotted-line supervision of program technical personnel involved in design and development.
• Mentor engineering team members on the program and drive continuous improvement.
• Act as technical escalation point and document requirements per standards.
