Job summary

Delta Waterfowl Foundation invites a proactive R3 Program Coordinator to oversee First Hunt and University Hunting programs across the assigned region. This role requires strong hunting and hunter education background with organized daily management and outreach to establish new university partnerships.

You will collaborate with state and federal agencies, coordinate events, and support reporting. Occasional travel is expected as needed to support programs and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences, wildlife management, or a related field.
• Must work well with the public and in a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organized and able to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter and passionate about hunter recruitment, retention, and reactivation.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to respond to change.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage data in Microsoft Office applications and other software.
• Excellent alphanumeric entry skills with a low error rate.
• Willingness and ability to travel to various meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of Delta Waterfowl's First Hunt program.
• Secure survey responses from First Hunt participants and update event data.
• Oversee the Delta Waterfowl University Hunting Program in the assigned region.
• Conduct outreach to establish new University Hunting Programs.
• Coordinate with wildlife professors to educate future managers on hunting's role in conservation.
• Work with state and federal agencies and partner organizations to strengthen and expand University Hunting Program events.
• Manage inventory for University Hunting Program supplies.
• Secure survey responses from University Hunting Program participants in assigned regions and update event data to ensure comprehensive reporting.
• Represent Delta at professional meetings and deliver public presentations.
• Contribute content to the Marketing Department to promote R3 initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
