Job summary

Amberwood Estates Nursing and Rehabilitation in Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse to admit, transfer and discharge residents, document care, and support the healthcare team. You will administer treatments and medications timely, maintain EMR accuracy, and participate in weekend and holiday coverage as needed, with a focus on compassionate, compliant patient care.

This role requires MO RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• MO RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Admit, transfer and discharge residents with documentation of care and services.
• Accurately chart in the resident's EMR reflecting care administered.
• Administer treatments and medications timely; order and perform diagnostic tests as needed.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team and communicate during shift changes.
• Ensure compliance with state and Federal regulations; participate in surveys as scheduled.
• Carry out Physician's orders and maintain quality patient care.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Admit, transfer and discharge residents with documentation regarding care and service provided.
• Accurately chart in resident's EMR that reflects care administered.
• Wears proper PPE when necessary.
• Administer treatment and medications timely; orders and performs diagnostic tests timely.
• Assumes nursing administrative duties on weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Effectively communicate to outgoing RN during shift change.
• Investigative resident/family complaints and takes appropriate actions to bring it to resolution.
• Complies with state and Federal Regulations in all matters; participate in facility surveys as scheduled.
• Works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team; carries out Physician's orders.
• Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Nursing program (RN) licensed in MO
• 2 years' experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Reliable transportation
