Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Florence, KY is seeking a Test Lab Technician to support research, new product development, and innovation initiatives. In a hands-on role, you will run product and prototype tests, build lab fixtures, capture data for engineering decisions, and prepare samples for evaluation.

You should be mechanically inclined, curious, and motivated by solving problems with advanced technologies in a safe, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a two-year technical degree is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude in a lab setting.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine alignment.
• Experience with test rigs and measurement instruments (temperature, speed, vibration, torque).

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe, organized lab.
• Set up and perform R&D testing on products and prototypes.
• Build, assemble, and modify test fixtures and equipment as needed.
• Maintain lab equipment and testing tools for reliability.
• Monitor test activity and document preliminary results for engineering review.
• Disassemble tested products and prepare samples for inspection.
• Support prototype assembly and preparation for testing.
