Job summary

SHINE Technologies LLC is seeking a Research and Development Test Engineer to support researchers by inventing, developing, and refining SHINE’s technology. The role includes assembling and troubleshooting test systems, running experiments, and collecting data.

The base salary range is $79,000 - $85,000 per year plus a comprehensive compensation package, with ranges determined by role, level, and location.

Qualifications

• BS in physical science or engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with electrical systems and basic electrical tools.
• Extensive experience with machine building and hand tools.
• Ability to carefully perform experiments and record results.
• Experience troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Experience with new product development, prototyping and R&D.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement experiments to understand SHINE’s core technologies.
• Assemble, modify, and troubleshoot experimental apparatuses.
• Perform experiments, analyze data, and report results with detailed reports.
• Evaluate prototype components and assist turning designs into products.
• Troubleshoot existing products and prototypes.
• Assist in designing new components and maintain the test area.
