Job summary

Ascom Holding AG is seeking a Test Engineer (R&D) to join our Morrisville-based R&D team. The role focuses on designing and implementing automated and manual tests to ensure software quality and that products meet specifications.

You will collaborate with developers and project members to create test cases and document results. The ideal candidate has a 3-5 year background in IT/software testing, experience with agile environments, and ISTQB Foundation or similar methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Software Engineering or relevant field with 3-5 years' experience.
• 1-2 years experience from agile development and fast paced environments.
• 1-2 years experience with ISTQB Foundation or similar testing methodology.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute tests to ensure Ascom products meet specifications.
• Create manual and automated test cases for verification activities.
• Plan, implement, execute, report and document test activities.
• Ensure compliance with ISO development and safety standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve test processes and report defects.
