TALENT Software Services is seeking an R&D Technician to support development of electrical devices, cables, PCBAs, and prototype test fixtures. You will perform precision soldering and cable assembly with engineers on prototype builds.
Responsibilities include hand soldering SMT and through-hole parts, assembling devices from drawings, inspecting solder joints to IPC standards, and performing electrical rework on boards. Strong trouble-shooting and teamwork are essential.
The R&D Technician is responsible for supporting research and development activities through the assembly, modification, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and electronic devices, cables, circuit boards, and automated test equipment (ATE) hardware. This role requires advanced soldering skills, cable assembly expertise, and the ability to perform precision electrical rework on product prototypes, engineering test fixtures, and printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). The technician works closely with engineers to support product development, verification testing, failure analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
