Job summary

Dandy is hiring an R&D Technician II to support its metal partials manufacturing line. You will perform hands-on production tasks—from metal post-processing to assembly, quality checks, and packing—in a fast-paced, scaling dental manufacturing environment.

The role requires a self-starter who is comfortable on a computer and can keep accurate, organized records as you go. Dental or dental lab experience is ideal but not required; what matters most is adaptability in a changing, evolving

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a dental, dental lab, or similar precision manufacturing environment preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer with spreadsheets, portals, and production tracking tools.
• Self-starter who can work under minimal supervision and take ownership of daily production.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort with repeatable, quality-driven processes.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive manual tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment as the line scales.
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and adapting to evolving R&D processes and equipment.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English.

Responsibilities

• Perform metal post-processing on printed frameworks to meet specs.
• Join components at marrying station; support assembly, quality checks, and packing.
• Track case-level status and inventory using spreadsheets and internal portal tools.
• Inspect finished components against quality standards and flag issues.
• Operate and help maintain production equipment; perform basic troubleshooting.
• Follow and refine SOPs as the line scales and improvements are suggested.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area.
