Job summary

Trident Seafoods, a leading North American seafood company, seeks an R&D Technician to support product development, sample preparation, testing, and documentation.

You will assist Food Scientists, manage ingredients, and help maintain a safe, organized R&D environment at the Seattle center. On-site with occasional remote Fridays, compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in food science or a related field.
• Six months or more experience in a food manufacturing, laboratory, quality, culinary, or product development environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports product development, sample preparation, and testing for R&D projects.
• Prepares samples for internal evaluations and customer meetings.
• Maintains documentation, data entry, and project records in databases.
• Maintains laboratory and kitchen spaces, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Coordinates sample packing, shipping, receiving and inventory of ingredients.
