Job summary

CORMETECH, Inc. is seeking a motivated R&D Technician to advance carbon capture and environmental catalysis technology. The role involves synthesis and performance testing of materials, operating analytical equipment, and collaborating with scientists and engineers on development projects.

The candidate will follow SOPs, maintain safety, and report data. Requires an associate degree and experience in a lab setting; bachelor’s degree preferred. 2nd shift: 2:30pm–11pm; benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in science, engineering or technical field is required.
• Experience with analytical instrumentation in labs or industry.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out testing on analytical equipment, small to pilot size reactors, and benchtop chemistry work.
• Follow SOPs and safety procedures in the laboratory.
• Obtain, analyze, and report testing data using lab instruments.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on instruments.
• Support synthesis of catalyst materials for testing.
