Job summary

TRCC Transport, Inc. is seeking a QC Technician for the Aqueous Polymers & Compounds program on a 2nd shift. The role involves performing chemical tests, operating FTIR, XRF, GC and HPLC instruments, and logging results in a timely manner.

On-site work with safety protocols and PPE required. High School Diploma is required; an Associate degree is preferred. Overtime may be required and benefits are offered after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associates Degree in a related field preferred.
• Must pass fitness for duty test, drug screen and TB test on offer.
• Must be able to smell chemicals in testing environment.
• Able to stand at a lab bench for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical tests including titrations, moisture, pH, conductivity, density, and viscosity.
• Conduct instrumental testing with FTIR, XRF, GC and HPLC.
• Log samples electronically and communicate test results to production.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.
• Maintain lab areas and prep stations and organize samples.
