Job summary

Compact Industries, Inc. seeks a 1st shift R&D Technician in St. Charles, IL to prepare, test, and evaluate samples for customer specifications. You will weigh ingredients, analyze data, and collaborate with Food Scientists to drive product development and ensure compliance with GMPs.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, lab experience, and proficiency with Word/Excel. Benefits start Day One, with 401k, bonuses, PTO, and tuition assistance available.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience in R&D or QA laboratory and production facility.
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Daily: check emails and follow instructions from Managers and Food Scientist.
Prepare samples according to preparation procedure and obtain approvals.
Weigh ingredients, measure density, brix, and other data; ensure criteria are met.
Enter sample data and keep accurate data logs.
Maintain clean, organized lab and assist with standardization.
