Job summary

Maverick Power is seeking a Technical Writer in Research and Development to create and maintain high-quality documentation and govern standardized practices across the organization.

The role requires expertise in technical communication, documentation systems, and business process design, with opportunities to influence product and operational processes through documentation strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, or related field.
• XML or HTML experience.
• SharePoint.
• Advanced ability to interpret complex engineering and technical data and translate into structured documentation.
• Knowledge of ISO and electrical standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit documentation independently.
• Establish, govern, and enforce organization-wide documentation standards, policies, and best practices.
• May commute to Maverick Power facilities for documentation development.
• Manage documentation libraries and systems.
• Participate in R&D initiatives, including testing, evaluation, and implementation of new systems.
