Tyson Foods is seeking an Associate Technical Services to lead and support the R&D Technical Services Department in hands-on development of ingredient substitutions and innovations from concept to commercialization. You will guide bench-top and pilot plant work and lead project teams while providing expertise to other functional groups.

The role requires familiarity with experimental steps, data collection, basic formulations, and computer software used by Technical Services.

Formación

• BS in Food Science, Meat Science, Biology, Chemistry or related discipline.
• 1 year experience in Quality, Food Safety, R&D or plant operations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good grasp of Microsoft Office tools and willingness to learn enterprise wide software.
• Strong working knowledge of Quality Control and HACCP principles and product development formulations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and assist the Technical Services team in hands-on development of ingredient substitutions and innovation from concept to commercialization.
• Assist in launching new product changes using current line processes or with corporate/operations to implement changes.
• Manage project teams and ensure manufacturing instructions are followed during first production.
• Collaborate with supply chain, plant operations, and other departments to move projects from concept to pilot plant test and launch.
