Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. in Springdale, AR, is seeking an R&D intern to work alongside food scientists in developing new products and processes for beef, pork and chicken.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's (incoming junior or senior) or master's degree in good standing.
• Degree in food or meat science preferred, but others may be considered.
• Strong computer skills with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist in product development alongside food scientists for beef, pork and chicken.
• Contribute to projects aimed at cost-saving, quality, profitability and innovation.
• Prepare a final brief report and presentation at internship end.
