Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing, and we are looking to hire a full-time R&D Sr. Scientist working preferrably from our Friendswood, TX office but will consider our Pittsburgh, PA office with a start date on or before October 30, 2026.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A R&D Sr. Scientist

As a Senior Scientist, you will drive the generation and communication of scientific evidence supporting Castle Biosciences' dermatologic oncology products. You'll collaborate across R&D, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Program Management, and Data Analytics to transform complex clinical and molecular data into meaningful insights that inform patient care and business strategy. In this highly visible role, you will analyze and visualize data, develop publications and scientific presentations, communicate findings to diverse audiences, and build collaborative relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to advance research initiatives. Success requires a unique blend of scientific expertise, analytical rigor, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in life sciences or a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of postgraduate medical manuscript (end-to-end) experience in life sciences or industry equivalent in the biotech sector.
• PhD level training in life sciences or biomedical engineering
• The ability to successfully communicate and teach in a complex and competitive environment

SCHEDULE

• Monday - Friday, in-office 5 days a week from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, exempt position, working from the Friendswood TX headquarters (preferred). May consider Pittsburgh, PA @ Nova Place office.
