The candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with substantial experience (Masters or PhD depending on years) and strong computer, analytical, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical field with six years of related experience, or Master’s with four years, or Ph.D with two years.
• Ability to apply analytical skills and scientific principles to problem solving and development.
• Strong computer skills (spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and relevant software).
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities; effective team collaboration.
• Working knowledge of US and international standards applicable to the department.

Responsibilities

• Make decisions on technical problems using advanced techniques and extend theories and practices.
• Receive supervision on overall objectives and policy matters; seek guidance as needed for unusual problems.
• May supervise technicians and collaborate with engineers on assignments.
• Work on special projects, create ECNs, and develop prototypes.
• Perform related duties as required.
