The University of Texas at Austin's Applied Research Laboratories on the Pickle Research Campus is seeking a Software Design Engineering Scientist Associate to design, develop, test, document, and maintain production and R&D software for data collection, signal processing, mapping, and navigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• Ability to define and document complex software using OO data structures.
• Ability to follow coding and testing standards.
• U.S. Citizen; eligible for security clearance as required.
• Strong organization, planning, time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software applications for data collection, signal processing, mapping, and navigation.
• Maintain and test new and legacy code.
• Create supporting documentation for software and systems.
• Participate in data collection, management, and analysis.
• Travel to domestic offsite test events 2-4 times per year.
• Perform other related functions as assigned.
