Position: R&D Seasonal Equipment Operator

Type: Full-time, Seasonal (April 2025 - October 2025)

Reports to: R&D Testing Engineer

Schedule:

• Workdays: Monday - Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Company Overview: Wright Manufacturing, an award-winning producer of commercial-grade lawn equipment in Frederick, Maryland, is seeking a creative and motivated individual to join our team as an R&D Seasonal Equipment Operator. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the R&D team to conduct functionality, performance, stress, and reliability testing to ensure product quality
• Operate and test products in local test fields under various conditions to evaluate real-world performance
• Provide detailed feedback on user experience, performance, and potential improvements

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs consistently and perform manual labor in various weather conditions
• Experience operating landscaping equipment and tools safely
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
