You will design experiments in organic, inorganic, organometallic, or polymer chemistry, translate lab results, and collaborate with Operations and Commercial teams.

The role involves leading bench to pilot scale synthesis and testing, applying mechanistic understanding, and mentoring technicians and chemists in new methods

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Chemistry with specialization in organic, inorganic, organometallic, or polymer chemistry.
• MS with substantial industrial R&D experience may be considered.
• Strong independent research program design and execution.
• Experience interpreting spectroscopic and thermal analysis data.
• Excellent written and oral communication; able to explain complex results.

Aufgaben

• Own defined R&D projects; set objectives and report conclusions.
• Develop monomers, catalysts, polymers, or processes.
• Lead synthesis, catalysis, and polymerization work, incl. air‑sensitive chemistry.
• Use advanced characterization (NMR, GPC/SEC, DSC/TGA) to answer questions.
• Apply DOE and statistics to build robust data sets and conclusions.
• Draft invention disclosures and support plant trials and scale‑up.
