Job summary

Syngenta in Tifton, GA is seeking an R&D Scientist I to lead field research trials focused on crop protection. You will design and oversee efficacy trials, collect high-quality data, and provide technical recommendations to advance products and new applications, collaborating with universities, extension partners, and contract research organizations.

You will disseminate findings through training, demonstrations, and scientific documentation to support product positioning and regulatory labeling

Qualifications

• MS degree in a related agricultural science field; PhD preferred.
• Experience conducting field efficacy trials on insect/weed/disease control products.
• Ability to analyze data and develop innovative agricultural solutions; travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage field research trials on crop protection across diverse crops.
• Design and oversee internal and external efficacy trials with high-quality data collection.
• Analyze results and provide technical recommendations for product advancement.
• Collaborate with universities, extension partners, CROs, and growers.
• Provide training, demonstrations, and documentation to support product positioning and regulatory labeling.
