Job summary

VARITE INC is seeking a Technical Applications Specialist in Fremont, CA to support the Clinical Diagnostics division. This 12-month contract role focuses on verification and validation studies for clinical analyzers in the Applications Team, enabling new assay applications to launch.

You will execute studies on clinical chemistry analyzers, prepare protocols and reports, analyze data, and troubleshoot issues to drive quality and speed to market in a lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences.
• 3+ years related experience (BA/BS) or 1 year with MS/PhD in life sciences.
• Experience operating automated clinical chemistry analyzers.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Join the R&D team in Fremont, performing verification and validation studies on clinical analyzers.
• Execute studies using clinical chemistry analyzers; write, edit, and secure approval of protocols and reports.
• Analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions.
