Job summary

The R&D Scientist II role is a hands-on bench position focused on verification and validation studies for clinical analyzers to support new assay applications within the Applications Team.

Responsibilities include executing studies, writing protocols and reports, data analysis, and problem-solving in a laboratory setting. Bachelor’s degree in life sciences with 3+ years (or MS/PhD with 1+ year) is required.

Qualifications

Title: Technical Applications Specialist - R&D Scientist

Duration: 12 Months

Pay: $30.00-$39.90/hr.

How will you make an impact?

The R&D Scientist II position is a hands-on bench position responsible for verification and validation studies on various clinical analyzers within the Applications Team in a laboratory environment to support the launch of new assay applications.

What will you do?

• Execute various studies using clinical chemistry analyzers
• Write, edit, and secure approval of protocols, reports, and technical documents
• Compile, analyze data, and interpret results
• Troubleshoot problems and recommend corrective actions

How will you get here?

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline
• BA/BS or equivalent in life science discipline with 3 or more years related experience, MS degree or PhD degree in life science discipline with a minimum of 1 year of experience

• Demonstrated ability for technical proficiency
• Hands on experience operating automated clinical chemistry analyzers
