Job summary

Boston Dynamics, Inc. is seeking an R&D Robotics Technician to join the Stretch Engineering team. You'll build and test complex electromechanical systems, assist with lab setup, and troubleshoot integrated robotics subsystems in fast-paced environment.

Daily work includes assembling prototype subsystems, validating designs, collecting data, and communicating results. The role requires multitasking, adapting to shifting priorities, and close collaboration with engineers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building/debugging electro-mechanical test setups.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent written and spoken communication of test results and data.

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial build of complex prototype electro-mechanical sub-assemblies.
• Independently conducts design validation testing for new robot subsystems.
• Troubleshoots and identifies root causes of system failures in sub-assemblies and robots.</br>Note: keep paraphrased within 140 chars.
• Creates test plans and procedures with minimal guidance.
