Job summary

Pure Fishing is seeking an R&D Engineer focused on reels to design, test, and improve fishing reels from concept through production. You will apply mechanical engineering principles and CAD tools to deliver reliable reels that meet performance, quality, and cost targets.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to drive prototypes, testing, and product iterations from concept through production, ensuring on-time delivery and scalable manufacturing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
3+ years in product development, mechanical/manufacturing engineering, or related field.
Proficiency with Pro/ENGINEER or similar 3D CAD software.
Experience with product testing, prototyping, manufacturing processes, or VAVE preferred.
Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate technical requirements clearly and collaborate across functions.
Experience with consumer products, sporting goods, fishing products, reels, or similar mechanical products is preferred.
