Job summary

Terumo Neuro in California is seeking a Technician II, R&D to fabricate prototypes for animal and bench testing and document results under direct and moderate supervision. You will set up and operate lab equipment, record results, and support new product development.

The role requires 3+ years of related experience, strong English communication, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel. You will learn procedures from Assemblers, perform tests to verify product integrity, and ensure GMP/safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years related work experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation.
• Good laboratory or manufacturing practices and ability to follow required safety procedures.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate prototypes, pilot units, verification units, and validation units.
• Record test results on standard forms and write test reports describing procedures used.
• Provide support for the development of new products.
• Interface with Assemblers to teach new procedures.
• Conduct tests to verify product integrity in the design phase.
• Recognize problems and take corrective action.
• Provide input into product design, testing, and processes.
• Set up, adjust, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments such as microscopes.
• Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
