Job summary

Terumo-Neuro-1 in California is seeking a hands-on technician to fabricate prototypes, pilot units and validation units, and to support new product development in our facility.

Responsibilities include recording test results, writing reports, using microscopes, operating lab equipment, diagnosing issues, ensuring compliance with laws and the Quality Management System, and assisting with other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school equivalent.
• Up to 3 years of assembly or hands-on technician experience.
• Ability to set up, adjust, and operate lab equipment and instruments, including microscopes; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate prototypes, pilot units, qualification units, and validation units.
• Record test results on standard forms and write test reports.
• Provide support for the development of new products; interface with assemblers to teach new procedures.
• Conduct tests to verify product integrity in the design phase.
• Recognize problems and take corrective action.
• Comply with Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
