Job summary

Terumo Neuro is seeking an Engineer II, R&D to advance medical device products. You will develop concepts, design controls deliverables, and provide process development while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong documentation, quality, and communication skills are essential.

The role involves hands‑on design work with SolidWorks/PRO/E, supervision of technicians, and occasional travel to support projects. This is an on‑site position in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a scientific field.
• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Design Control Deliverables to support commercial products.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel; SolidWorks and/or CAD proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop new product concepts and products.
• Provide engineering design and process development.
• Generate intellectual property; write invention disclosures.
• Supervise Assemblers, Technicians, and Specialists.
• Largely self-directed and capable of meeting project goals with moderate supervision.
• Some travel required.
• Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements, and demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
