Job summary

Catalent’s Winchester site is hiring an entry‑level R&D Project Management Coordinator to support project coordination across functional areas such as supply chain, finance, and quality systems. You will assist with documentation, forecasting, and analytics to ensure smooth project execution, working with Project Managers and other teams.

This role offers exposure to GMP processes, ERP systems, and Trackwise in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma with 5+ years of project coordination experience, or Associate Degree with 3+ years of project coordination experience, or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Trackwise or other similar Quality Management systems required.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong time management, planning, and multitasking abilities.
  • Self‑driven, highly organized, and able to prioritize workload in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills for effective teamwork and cross‑department collaboration.
  • Technical writing skills including report writing, presentations, and meeting documentation preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Specific vision requirements include reading written documents and frequent use of a computer monitor screen.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sample shipments with Safety, Warehouse, and Project Managers.
  • Assemble and track invoices and billing with Project Managers.
  • Review forecasting and scheduling against quotes.
  • Assist with project closeouts and review key documentation.

  • Support planning and coordination of R&D analytical activities.

About Site

Catalent’s Winchester, KY site is the company’s flagship U.S. manufacturing location for large‑scale oral solid dose forms, operating from a 180,000‑square‑foot facility with fully integrated development and analytical services. The site specializes in complex and controlled‑release oral dose technologies, supporting product development, technology transfer, and commercial manufacturing across pharmaceutical and consumer health programs. Winchester has a long commercial manufacturing track record, having launched 100+ products and producing billions of tablets and capsules annually, making it a critical site within Catalent’s oral dose network.

Position Summary

We have an opportunity for a R&D Project Management Coordinator to join our team. This entry‑level position within the R&D Project Management Department focuses on one or more functional areas such as supply chain, finance, quality systems, or business development. The role supports project coordination, documentation, and analytical activities to ensure smooth project execution. It offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment supporting Catalent Pharma Solutions’ high performance standards.

Shift & Location

Shift: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
Location: Winchester, KY 100% Onsite

The Role
  • Work with Safety, Warehouse, and Project Managers to coordinate sample shipments.
