Job summary

ICF is seeking a Project Analyst, SETA 2 to support NSF science and engineering programs. Contribute to U.S. leadership in innovation through the full lifecycle of R&D projects and partnerships.

The role involves collaboration with NSF leadership, program directors, and interagency partners, with a hybrid work schedule based in Alexandria, VA. Candidates with 10+ years in research, PM experience, and strong MS Office skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of R&D expertise, managing research projects and PM experience.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance suitability.
• High proficiency using Microsoft Office tools.
• Advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD) strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with project management tools, systems mapping, and data analytics processes.
• Experience in Quantum, Advanced Materials, AI, or data sciences.
• Experience with federal funding research agencies in SETA roles.
• Ability to demonstrate data analysis, visualization, and reporting skills.
• Experience interacting with Senior Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support a wide range of technology, R&D, and programmatic tasks.
• Provide technical and program support to directors managing an R&D portfolio.
• Assist with management of awardees, milestone capture, and program briefings/reports.
• Coordinate discussions with government, industry, and stakeholders to start partnerships.
• Coordinate and support technical meetings and conferences.
• Provide high-level systems engineering and programmatic expertise for TIP programs.
• Conduct data analysis with the analytics team to aid decisions.
• Ensure a positive user experience for various programs.
• As needed, serve as a team lead managing tasks and team members.
