Job summary

ICF is seeking a Project Analyst, SETA 2 to support NSF science and engineering innovation programs. The hybrid role is based in Alexandria, VA, with responsibilities spanning program support, data analysis, and senior leadership engagement.

You will coordinate awardee management, milestone capture, and briefings, while providing high-level systems engineering expertise across TIP programs and partnerships. A strong background in research management and PM tools is essential.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of research and development expertise, managing research projects, and project management experience.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
• High proficiency using Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Support a wide range of technology, research and development, and programmatic tasks.
• Provide technical and program support to program directors managing an R&D portfolio of awardees.
• Assist with management of awardees, milestone capture, and development of program briefings and technical reports for NSF leadership and interagency partners.
• Coordinate and participate in technical and programmatic discussions with government, industry, and other stakeholders to initiate new partnerships and program concepts.
• Coordinate and support technical meetings and conferences.
• Provide high-level systems engineering and programmatic expertise to support the full life cycle of process and system improvement for current, expanding, and new TIP programs.
• Conduct data analysis (in coordination with the data analytics team) to draw valuable insights for programmatic decisions and improve communication.
• Ensure a positive user experience for various programs.
• As needed, serve as a team lead, managing the implementation of tasks and team member management.
