Job summary

Variant Partners in Northern Indiana is seeking an experienced R&D Product Engineer to drive development, launch, and ongoing improvements of technical products across design, testing, customer interaction, and manufacturing.

You will design products from customer and market requirements, collaborate with sales, R&D, manufacturing and suppliers, support prototype testing and customer integration, travel up to 25% domestically and internationally, and maintain product documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design and development experience in a manufacturing environment.
• CAD experience and strong technical design capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop products based on customer and market requirements
• Collaborate with sales, R&D, manufacturing, and other internal teams throughout product lifecycle
• Support prototype development, testing, and customer integration
• Partner with suppliers on product development and sourcing
• Monitor product performance and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
• Maintain product documentation and track key performance metrics
• Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
