Job summary

GAF in Parsippany, NJ seeks a motivated R&D Product Development Engineer Co-Op to contribute toResidential New Product Development. You will work with the Residential R&D teams on designing and testing new products, performing labproofs, planning trials, material testing, and data analysis to build business cases for capital investment.

You will gain mentorship, engage in cross-functional collaboration, and develop technical reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2.8 GPA and sophomore standing.
• Spring - Summer term candidates must be able to work full-time for a minimum of 6 months (January – June 2027).
• Summer - Fall term candidates must be able to work full-time for a minimum of 6 months (June – December 2027).
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• Computer skills include Google, MS Excel, MS Word, and basic knowledge of Solidworks.

Responsibilities

• Solve problems and manage projects with clear communication.
• Develop CAD drawings and apply data analysis fundamentals.
• Work under guidance of a New Product Development Scientist or Engineer and complete tasks timely.
